I have a JR female I rescued from some Amish, a Beagle, and a large Rottweiler.
I agree, the JR’s are super energetic, but make really good varmint hunters. Mine will chase rabbits, mice, and cats. (other than our own) My beagle is overweight (purposely) to slow him down on a rabbit, once he is on a track he won’t stop unless he’s got a shocker on him to break his concentration. The Rott, well big dumb and eats alot, but lovable.
I haven’t met an Airedale yet, but I believe they are used for hunting correct?
