Turbo Hi-Speed in my browser has a "disable" button displayed when Hi-Speed is working. Click that button to turn Hi-Speed off. Then an "enable" button is displayed. Click to turn Hi-Speed on.

Next button, "Performance", displays your Hi-Speed Savings Ratio. You will receive best performance when Image Acceleration is set to maximum. Image quality is diminished but you can choose to display original image at any time.

I suggest downloading and saving a copy of Hi-Speed Installer. Go to Support, then Downloads. Then you can reinstall Hi-Speed anytime you need to.

Did anybody else ever notice that shortly after 4 p.m. it seems like turbousa kicks you off the air and when you connect again you may as well forget about connecting with ANYTHING. It seems that turbousa has hit the bottom. No connections or any decent help. I will be out of here shortly. They must be trying to save on bandwidth and inconviencing everyone on here!

I have never encountered the difficulties you describe. I have used TurboUSA for almost 4 years and consider it the most reliable provider I have ever used. I am especially pleased with the recent changes to Turbo Webmail, amazingly fast and without the myriad of ads present on most mail sites.

During the period 1 week 1 hour, my Savings Ratio is 4.6

Original Data 89 MB Hi-Speed Data 19 MB

Which means that without Hi-Speed each page I view would take 4.6 times longer to load.

I live in a rural area where my phone line conditions limit my connection speed to 28 Kbps.

Most metro areas will connect at about 50 Kbps +/-
