I am having a great deal of difficulty in staying on line. I live in the back-woods of Virginia, and hope that this is not the reason why I get kicked out. I get into the net after sereral tried thru Turbousa and when I finally get to looking around, then I get no messages, but do see that the little internet TV monitor no longer has the world on it. When I look into the situation, it tells me that I am still conncected locally, but that is all.
Have you all had a problem like that and how did you over come it? many thanks to those that can help me..........Frank

Unfortunately living in the back woods does make a difference( Posting here won't be seen by the techs at turbo. No one from there checks the posts, maybe once a year. Please call their office for help. Trying another number has helped me many times. Some are much better than others. Good luck!

I signed up two weeks ago today and I have been on the phone with support more than online. Nothing but problems. I had dialup service before and had no problems with getting online and staying online. Frankly I am frustrated with the service.
Technicians were courtious on the whole but yesterday one just got to me when after hanging up I could say she was yelling at me for saying that TurboUSA was set to throw me offline after an hour. Incidentally that was the longest I was online, two nights in a row. She then admitted that yes indeed it was set to disconnect after 4 hours for security reasons. I wondered what sort of a security risk I could be.
List the problems:
Sometimes I cannot log on. Sometimes I can log on, then after getting to the homepage, I get disconnected. After being on a few minutes, I get disconnedted. After each disconnect, I cannot log back on. The message I get says:
Error #691 Connection failed because your username and password are invalid on the domain.
Then
I try everything possible and call support. They try but cannot help.
Now they tell me that my modem drivers need updating. Going to get that done and hoping for the best.
