Thanks for the heads-up. Caught it, and thought they all handled themselves well. Now that Herman Cain has suspended his campaign, my preference order is Santorum, Bachman, (Paul), Perry, Gingrich, anybody else, Romney. Paul is in parentheses because, for me, extending his isolationism to Israel is a deal-killer.

Not sure why there were very few comments on the debate anywhere, thought everyone would get their 2 cents in. Anyway, this from the OTHER forum:
HOPE EVERYONE WATCHED. PERRY HAS FOUND HIMSELF,,,AND IS BEING HIMSELF,,WHO AMONG US WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN KNOCKED BACK WHEN YOU ENTER AND EVERYONE STARTS ALL THE ATTACKS STRAIGHT AT YOU?? IF YOU WATCHED,,,HE AND RICK SANTORUM GOT WAAAY LESS TIME THAN THE OTHERS!! IT WAS A "DEM" FORUM,,AND THEY DONT WANT HIM TO MOVE UP,,BECAUSE HE CAN WIN,,HIS IDEAS ARE GOOD,,AND HIS MORALS AND RECORD ARE GOOD,,NOT MUCH TO SMEAR HIM WITH!!! BACHMAN NEEDS TO STOP SOUNDING LIKE A BROKEN RECORD,,I COULD STAND IN FOR HER AND REPEAT MOST OF HER TALKING APPOINTS FOR HER WORD FOR WORD!?! A part-time Congress would also be getting a big cut in pay which would require them to hold down anoter job.
Working two part-time jobs is somethin that a lot of folks are having to do right now.
Perhaps havingt live on less income just migt teach those bozos something about the real trut of our country right now.
Unfortunately since all of those jokies have political connections, their buddies would be certain to set up good jobs for them with ample pay to tide them over those rough spots.
If it possible to even consider, this would promote MORE corruption in our government, not less.
i figure anyone that spends millions (or in O's case, a billion) to get a job that won't pay anywhere near that should not get hired at all. make em "public servants". make it a 'privilege' to work in congress. no benefits as they have now. a bare necessity for housing and food with some clothing allotments. no retirement/pensions/health care at tax payers expense.
you know on re reading that i do believe i will see JC the second time around first.

MORE........ Perry is true to Texas; also the John Birch Society. Newt---what can I say except that I lived in beautiful Georgia for 26 years and know that he only loves himself, he is a fake,not even good enough to run for President. Please don't be fooled. I have turned off the tv every time some politician has an add. We are tired of the lies--I hate politicians that put an ad out stating the other runner is or has done something. Enquire magazine all over. All the millions upon millions of dollars spent on the 2012 campaign could feed a lot of people. I am old as dirt and have seen and experienced almost everything. I have noticed that any President that wants to help the American People (middle class and poor) is not acceptable to corporations, lobbyists, and dishonest congress. John F. Kennedy and Robert Kennedy suffered the conquenses when they did everything to help the poor and the blacks. Think about it. We live in a complete dishonest country that has honest hardworking people. Greed and Power has it all to move to China. I could go on and on, but I am watching the Green Bay Packers Game right now.

Newt scares me and I am not sure why so he is also crossed off.
SANTORUM was never on my list he's too unknown.
I liked what whats his face had to say.
All in all I am still for you know who but she will only take votes from another candidate enough to weaken their position not enough to get her hired.

I didn't know anything about them - just that they were bad, bad, bad, 'cuz all my liberal friends said so. In later years, I caught one of them sneaking into a gun show to sell copies of the Constitution, of all things! Then, last year, I visited their website once, so among my old liberal buddies, that would qualify me as "The" expert on the JBS. They don't seem to me to be bad people, just conservatives who have been successfully demonized by the left - sort of like Sen. Joe McCarthy.
An association with the Birchers , if proven, and not just a liberal pre-emptive smear, wouldn't move Perry up or down on my list. What makes me nervous about Perry is his affection for the Trans-Texas Corridor, one leg of the super-duper highway from Mexico to Canada that is designed to further the North American Union. (See the U.S. Gov't's "Security and Prosperity Protocol" signed for the U.S. by Condoleeza Rice.) Goodbye, U.S. sovereignty.
