I would make my own wine. Besides we tried this once and it did not work out so well the first time. Besides Drinking wine is actually good for you and it is COMPLETELY BIBLICAL. Unlike another topic in here.

All the Bible scholars I know say that in fact the Wine in the Bible Did contain it.How else would those around the Apostles even think they had drunk too much wine when they were filled with the Holy Spirit. Also many JEWISH Holidays are from scriptures and they Use fermented wine. They are supposed to get drunk. I learned this from a Orthodox jewish friend. Fermented Wine in those days is the same as now they drank it because it was the only thing that could KILL parsites in there food and water supply. I drink rarely and have no problem with it. I go out about once maybe twice a year if I can and only once a year do I ever drink heavy. I dont consder a six pack in two weeks as a problem. And Most of the People who drink to get drunk in my area can WALK home. Besides at one bar the Owner will drive you home if she thinks you are dangerous or she will find someone else too.

I challenge you to debate the stance that alcohol is legal Biblically, but marijuana is not.

I never said alchol such as hard liqurs. I said WINE. The Bible speaks of wine in 44 different Books of the Bible. Both Old and New Testaments. I dare you to find one verse in the Bible where marijuana is. You show me ONE verse in the Bible about smoking Pot. Herbs are mentioned for COOKING and drinking. I have not seen anything about Smokin.
Be prepared if you wish to debate this as any claim that God gave us the Herbs and plants as food do not apply to something smoked and Inhaled. I had two friends who used the same claim they actually tried to claim one herb in the Bible was also known as cannabis. Until the Fact that that plant grow today only in the Middle east and has no value whatsoever as a agent to get one high.

Please do not use Gen 1:29-30. Last time I chaecked Pot is not used much for FOOD. Maybe in Brownies. Wine had value in the Bible as a way to keep people from Infections in their bodies. The Bible warns against strong drinks. Even wine today is good with a meal. I am not Talking for a Buzz or to get drunk.

The Bible does speak of alcohol other than wine, it’s called strong drink, and it’s not forbidden (excepting certain situations for Levitical Priests). Alcohol may have been used as a topical antiseptic, but not imbibed as such. (Jewish tradition and Biblical tradition arent one in the same) The uses in the Bible was for grief, stomach problems, etc.
The Bible says every herb is to be used for meat. Obviously that means anything to be consumed. Yahweh didn’t forbid us any herb, including cannabis. Therefore the logical conclusion would be that we are free to consume this herb like any other.
Food and medicine are one in the same (except to modern medicine). The delivery method isn’t important here, just the freedom to use it as we see fit.
