I live in a pretty rural area with maybe a couple hudred people. Most are graet and would help anyone in need. We have had several disasters hit here and everyone checks on everyone. We had waht we all know was a tornado hit this summer even though the news claims it was only Straight line winds in excess of 120 mph. Those of us who live here know different. Many saw it and I was one of them. We are still cleaning up and the storm hit June 27th. We had the RED CROSS here for a week. The RED Cross that came in was from South Dakota and Iowa. I live in Nebraska and Not close to the South Dakota border. Even the Power company’s that gor us Hooked back were from Iowa. The local Power company was who knows where. The Power crews that helped us said that OPPD our power company would only allow them to work from 8 AM to 8 PM. They though that was stange as they are used to working in shifts around the clock. To this day the County has not come out to assist anyone out here. We cleared our own roads and the only time we saw any county crews here is when the FEMA team was in here. The county showed up just before FEMA and left just after they did. It was a show to make FEMA think they were helping us. FEMA Classified our arae a Disastor area, But the County diverted all the HELP to the City of Omaha which is in our county.

I’m sick of the economy crap.lol I wish it would hurry up and just collapse, but we are forced to endear our representatives’ insult us by passing these bail-outs that 75% of Americans were against in the first place. They do it under the guise of ’helping’ yet they are robbing us and no one realizes it. Now the depression (maybe I should capitalize that) we’re about to experience, will be worse for us because of it. I guess we deserve it really, though.
