Here is a true life experience that the government and the pharmaceutical companies do not want told.
My name is Eric Donkin and my father Keith Donkin was diagnosed with fast growing lung cancer in the summer of 2006. Surgery was not an option for him and the only thing offered was chemotherapy which he refused as it does more harm than good. His doctor agreed with the decision. At this time we had heard about Rick Simpson and the cure for cancer. After talking with my father we contacted Mr. Simpson and then our learning experience began on this incredible cure for cancer.
The first of January 2007 my father by then was too ill & weak to stay on his own and now had the death rattle in his lungs. He came to live with us and immediately started the hemp oil medicine. The first week he was with us, my wife and I both believed that he was too far gone for the medicine to save him. By the second week of treatment he was so much improved and his breathing was so much better it was like a miracle.
His doctor at this stage was sure the cancer would have now gone to his brain and wanted him to give up his drivers license. If he wouldn’t, then he needed to have a brain scan at which time the doctor would then revoke it. My father opted for the brain scan in Feb 2007 as he was feeling so much better. Much to the amazement of the doctor, there was no cancer in the brain and he happily relayed the results to my dad and told him to take his truck for a drive, which at this point was no surprise to me as he was beating both my wife and I at playing crib almost every night.
By the end of March, my father’s health had improved so much it was truly a miracle to us. One example was, his oxygen levels had improved from 70% the first of Jan 2007 to 100% and he was still smoking his 2 packs of cigarettes a day. The biggest example was he now moved back to his own home with just a housekeeper who came in 5 days a week. By garden time he was able to put in his vegetable garden and was enjoying driving himself around to visit family and friends. It was like he had never had cancer.
In August 2007 my father called me and told me of a wonderful phone call he received from the doctor. The doctor called him at home after reviewing his lung x-rays and told him he "would never have to worry about dying from lung cancer".
This miracle plant has more medicinal uses than any other known plant. It is hard to believe in this day and age that we do not have the right to choose to take this medicine which has been used for thousands of years. Why do our loved ones have to die from cancer? The answer is quite simple in that you cannot patent a plant, hence no money to be made from the cure. If this was allowed the pharmaceutical companies would lose billions of dollars on all the chemical drugs they produce to TREAT cancer and the Canadian Cancer Society would not exist where only 10% of their money goes to preventing or curing cancer.

My wife Debbie and I have the deepest admiration and respect for Rick Simpson for all he has done and all he has tried to do for all of us. Rick is the most noble person we have ever met who has had the courage to stand up and fight on the side of right against all odds. Rick has made nothing for himself in monetary gains and now on Nov. 30, 2007 may be sentenced to jail time for treating and curing cancer patients.
All I have to say in closing is that we should be given all the true information and everyone should be able to choose. After all, we are supposed to be living in a free and democratic society.
